Who we are

Unity Brickwork Limited ("we", "us") is a bricklaying business based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16424551. Our registered office is Woodland Lodge Lodge 20, Dunston, Staffordshire, ST18 9FJ.

What we collect

When you contact us through the website form, by email or by phone, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the postcode or address of the job, details of the work, and any photos you send.

Why we use it

We only use it to reply to your enquiry, visit and quote for the work, and, if you go ahead, carry out the job and invoice you. Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract. We keep invoices because the law requires it.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your details or use them for marketing. Our website provider (Squarespace) and email provider store them on our behalf. We may share job details with a supplier or subcontractor only when that's needed to do your work. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, they use recognised safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 12 months, then deleted. Customer and invoice records: 6 years, as required for tax.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@unitybrickwork.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
